- Minimum of 4 drives per player
- Tee times to be book via IG, tee times go live 6 days prior to competition as per normal tee booking
- Entry fee £20.00 per team, payable on entry in the pro shop on the day
- Pre registered teams will have cards prepared for them
- Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd
Texas scramble - Rules- Drives - At least 4 drives must be taken from each player.
- Handicap allowances: 25%/20%/15%/10% from lowest to highest
- Team handicap displayed on scorecard if pre registered, or on IG.
- Tees: YELLOW men, RED tees ladies
- Playing rules:
- All team members drive on every hole. Team selects the most advantageous drive and marks. Drives used must be marked on the scorecard.
- If ball lying on fairway or close mown area, players may place within 12" from original spot and play in any order. If in rough or hazard, player owning that ball must play first and subsequent shots may be placed within 24", not nearer the hole still in the rough or hazard.
- Proceed with each shot as above, always selecting the most advantageous shot to play. When reaching the green, best ball must be marked and all putts taken from as close to original position as possible. Players may putt in any order they choose.
- First ball into hole must count so, if you are tempted to knock it in before others have attempted to putt, then that is the score that must be recorded.
